Studio is a workbench application for configuring and extending Platform to meet the specific requirements of a company and its value chain. With Studio all aspects of Platform are configurable, from the transaction and process flow through the layout and color of the user interface. This “design” can then be submitted into the Network to dynamically update the run-time Network Applications. Network Applications are in effect, generated by transaction and process designs created within Studio.

With Studio, Platform is not a rigid application – nor is it a middleware software component or a toolkit. Platform incorporates the core constructs of next generation supply chain management and exposes its application workings in a graphical workbench accessible to appropriate parties.
