One Network Announces Acquisition of Valdero
Adds Advanced Analytical Functionality to Robust Supply Network Execution Solution
Dallas, TX, USA (20 September, 2005) — One Network Enterprises, Inc. today announced the acquisition of Valdero Corporation. Based in Silicon Valley and backed by premier venture capital firms, including Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Mohr Davidow Ventures, Valdero provides supply chain performance management and analytical collaboration applications. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The Valdero product suite delivers advanced real-time analytics across multiple tiers of the supply network along with supply-demand match simulation capabilities, delivered through an intuitive web-based interface. Valdero’s installed base has deployed these applications to reduce inventory exposure and shorten order cycle times. One Network will continue to support Valdero’s existing products and customers and will tightly integrate their technology within One Network’s transaction, process execution and optimization backbone.
The acquisition adds critical functionality to One Network’s advanced solutions for managing the end-to-end execution of multi-enterprise supply network processes. “Valdero is a strategic technology acquisition for One Network, and is a natural step for us to take in converging traditionally separate planning and execution technologies,” said John Keenan, CEO of One Network. “Moreover, the Valdero technology and team add key capabilities that will allow us to better serve our existing retail and CPG customers and expand into the high technology markets.”
