Automate your shipper collaboration processes and increase asset utilization
Hundreds of logistics and transportation services companies have embraced One Network for distributed process management and collaboration. As a transportation service provider, you can access and work with any other shipper or receiver who uses One Network for their logistics processes — through the same system, view and log-in.
Our goal is to avoid the increasing challenge of working with multiple Internet-based applications by providing you with a single system that spans across multiple shippers and receivers. You will:
- Reduce cost of sales and customer acquisition. Join the many carriers who have secured new transportation lanes and relationships through One Network’s on-line Request for Quotation. One Network shippers submit available lanes, and you respond with the lanes you would like to service. It’s straightforward, it’s easy and it enables you to identify lanes without leaving your office. Additionally, our Carrier Profile feature allows you to post your service lanes, company information, and contact information to the thousands of One Network shipper users.
- Reduce communication expenses and overhead costs. One Network automates several traditionally labor-intensive processes. It also provides an excellent, real-time alternative to expensive EDI connectivity that many companies require. You can access:
- On-line load tender and tender response
- On-line appointment scheduling
- On-line shipment status updates
- Real-time visibility to customer demand
- On-line claim submission
- On-line additional charge submission
- Improve Asset Utilization. Post your available capacity to other One Network shippers with One Network’s Post Capacity function. One Network automatically notifies shippers of your capacity, allowing you to improvement your asset utilization. For frequent transportation runs, consider continuous move opportunities with One Network shippers.
- No-Invoice Bill Payment. One Network’s invoice-less freight payment process is a major advantage over other solutions. The proven process yields quantifiable cost savings, and enables you and your shippers to sunset the headaches associated with freight payment and audit. Shipments are accurately rated based upon your negotiated contract rate agreements — the same rates that would be used to create a paper invoice. We support an unplanned accessorial process, too, to eliminate the need for balance due bills. With this information upfront you eliminates the need to create freight invoices, and typically get faster payment from your shippers.
- Increase customer responsiveness. Become more responsive to new customer opportunities and service or process extension requests. GPS load tracking, pro-active alerting, and reporting capabilities keep you in tune with your customer.
- Direct integration. One Network provides a direct integration into your current dispatch system. You will communicate directly with One Network shippers without leaving the comfort of your dispatch solution.
